147,128 Robotaxi rides for over 60,000 passengers, WeRide Robotaxi has won over a group of loyal users from the traditional mobility market within the first year of operation fully open to the public. 28% of passengers ride at least once a week and 15% ride at least three times a week.
Marking the first anniversary of WeRide Robotaxi service, we interviewed dozens of local citizens and Robotaxi passengers in Guangzhou, listening to their ideas about the presence and the future of self-driving. The interview could give us a brand-new perspective about how the future mobility could unfold.
WeRide has also jointly conducted a Robotaxi passenger survey with the Institute of Transportation Engineering, Tsinghua University, and published the first Robotaxi Passenger Survey Report.
