Today I am very delighted to see that we have taken another solid step towards the commercialization of autonomous driving. WeRide becomes the first AD company in China to have obtained the permit for ride-hailing operation, adding another important advantage to those we have already had in the industry. We have been prepared for the application of this license with significant investment of energy and time throughout the process. Behind all of this is our mission to be an autonomous driving company of compliance and responsibility. We are and will continue to be the leader in this sector.”
Moving forward, WeRide will, under the guidance of relevant authorities, keep striving for diversified and large-scale operations of autonomous driving vehicles. On top of that, all will happen in an orderly manner in accordance with relevant policies and regulations, as well as WeRide’s technological and business development.
